電気運搬船 Power Ark 100 居住区のインテリアデザイン
株式会社パワーエックスが愛媛県今治市で開催された国際海事展バリシップ2023にて発表した電気運搬船Power Ark100及びPower Ark100初号船「X」のインテリアデザインを担当します。 Power Ark100は遥か遠い土地で生み出された自然エネルギーを充電し必要な場所で給電することができるバッテリーを搭載した船として構想された。 世界で初めて造船される電気運搬船。 近未来の商船である電気運搬船の基準となるよう、今までの商船とは一線を画す空間を目指した。
電気を感じるのに一番の近道は暗い場所でスイッチを入れて灯りをつけることであり、 この「ON」と「OFF」という最も削ぎ落とされた電気の表現にSYMBOLPLUSとしての解釈を加え電気運搬船として相応しい内部空間を考えた。 ここで働くCREWの方の部屋や廊下、食堂などでは必要な機能を使うときのみ出現するように計画し、状態としての「ON」と「OFF」を表現。 お客様の方々が訪れプレゼンテーションする際には文字通り電気を使い空間が変化することでサプライズを演出できるように計画した。
2025年の完成がその先100年以上に残る歴史的な初号船となるよう邁進していく。

  Residential Design of the Battery Tanker "Power Ark 100"
  We are responsible for the interior design of the Battery Tanker Power Ark 100 and the first Power Ark 100 vessel "X" presented by Power X at the International Maritime Exhibition Bali Ship 2023 held in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. Power Ark 100 is the world's first Battery Tanker. It is a ship equipped with batteries that can be charged with clean energy and supplied the power to wherever it is needed. In order to set the standard for the futuristic Battery Tankers, we aimed to create a space that is distinct from traditional cargo ships.
  The best way to “feel electricity” is to switch on the lights in a dark place. We incorporated the interpretation of “SYMBOLPLUS,” which represents the most essential expression of electricity in the form of switching "ON" and "OFF," and designed the interior space of the electric cargo ship accordingly. For the crew's rooms, corridors, dining area, and other spaces, we planned for the necessary functions to only appear when they are being used, expressing the states of "ON" and "OFF." When customers visit and make presentations, we planned the space to surprise them by literally using electricity to create a transformative environment.
  We hope the ship to be completed in 2025 will become the historic inaugural vessel that will leave a legacy for over 100 years to come.

  电力运输船 Power Ark 100 住区的室内设计 我们负责「株式会社Power X」在2023年日本今治船舶海事展览会BARI SHIP 2023上展示的电力运输船Power Ark 100和Power Ark 100初号船「X」的室内设计。
  Power Ark 100 是一艘搭载蓄电池的船只，可以在遥远的地方获取自然能源并在需要的地点进行充电供电。它将是世界上第一艘电力运输船。 作为未来商船的电力运输船，我们致力于打造与传统商船有所区别的空间。
  最直接感受到电力的方法是在黑暗的地方按开关并点亮灯光， 我们在这种最简化的「ON」和「OFF」电力表达中加入了SYMBOLPLUS的解释，考虑了适合电力运输船的内部空间。
  在此工作的船员的房间、走廊、食堂等空間，我们计划仅在使用必要功能时才出现，并表达了「ON」和「OFF」的状态。 当客户访问并进行演示时，我们计划通过实际使用电力来改变空间，演绎出惊喜感效果。
  2025年初号船的完成，为今后100多年来历史性的初号船而向前迈进了一步。
