某百貨店の VIP LOUNGE の為にデザインされた家具シリーズ。
同社の歴史、製作をする木工所の技術力をこのLOUNGE に訪れる方に 家具を通して伝えたいとのリクエストをもらった。 同社木工製作所の伝統ある技術力は非常に高く、伝統工芸の域まで達するほどである。 その技術力を生かし曲げ木を特徴とし座る人を優しく包みこむフォルムとした。 各アイテムの木部で見せた積層は同社の歴史の重なりをさりげなく伝えている。
その名の由来である曲げわっぱのような伝統工芸品のように皆に愛される家具シリーズになることを願う。 尚、今後同社からホームユースとしての限定販売も予定されている。

  A series of furniture designed for a department store’s VIP exclusive LOUNGE.
  We received a request to convey the company’s history and the technical skills of the woodworking factory that produces the furniture to visitors to the VIP LOUNGE. The traditional technical skills of the woodworking factory are so high that they have reached the level of traditional craftsmanship. The form of the furniture, which features bent wood, gently wraps around the person sitting on it. The lamination shown in the wood of each item subtly conveys the layers of history. We hope that this furniture series will be loved by everyone like the traditional craft of bent wood, which is the origin of its name. The company also plans to sell a limited number of these pieces for home use.

  为某百货店VIP专用休息室设计的家具系列。
  通过家具传递该公司的历史以及木工厂的技术能力，给来访贵宾室的客人。木工厂的传统技术精湛，甚至达到了传统工艺的最高境界。以圆滑的曲木为特征，让客人在入座的时候感受到被家具包围的温暖。在各产品细节中木制层叠处理，自然地传达着传统工艺的历史。希望打造出如弯曲传统工艺品一样被大家喜爱的家具系列。另外今后该公司还推行居家用的限定款销售。
