熱海に新設されるリゾートホテルのFFEデザイン(Furniture, Fixture & Equipment)。
建築と内装の計画が既に進行している中で、このホテルに最適な家具デザインが求められた。 ホテル全体で快適さと統一感を保つため、家具には共通の仕様を設けている。ソファの座面は着脱仕様とするのと合わせて、座と背の接合部には木造建築の継手を応用し、構造的な安定性を高めると同時に、シリーズを象徴するディテールとしている。 客室ローテーブルの研ぎ出し天板には、ホテル近郊で採取した富士川砂利(ふじかわじゃみ)を骨材として使用し、長い年月をかけて富士山から流れ落ちた石が川を下り削られたありのままの形を封入している。
このように、長期的な耐久性と素材のもつ物語を家具に取り入れることで、訪れる人にとっても運用する側にとっても、心地よく永く使える家具づくりを目指した。

  Project about furniture, fixtures & equipment design for a new resort hotel in Atami, Shizuoka Pref. With architectural and interior plans already underway, the client required the optimum furniture design.
  To ensure comfort and consistency throughout the hotel, all furniture shares a common design approach. Sofa seats feature removable cushions for easy maintenance, while the joints between the seat and backrest draw inspiration from traditional Japanese wood joinery—offering both structural stability and a unifying visual motif that defines the series. Guest room low tables feature polished tops embedded with gravel sourced from the nearby Fujikawa River. These stones, naturally shaped as they journeyed downstream over many years from Mount Fuji, are preserved in their original form, capturing the quiet passage of time within the material itself.
  By integrating long-term durability with materials that carry a sense of place and history, we aimed to create furniture that feels enduring and meaningful—for both guests and those who care for the space.

  建筑和室内设计已进行之时，接受了最适合该酒店家具设计的委托。为了在整个酒店保持舒适和统一感，家具设置了通用的样式。沙发的座面采用沙发套样式，可拆卸式设计便于替换，始终保持清洁舒适的状态。另外，在座面和背面的接合部应用木造建筑的接头，提高结构稳定性的同时，象征着系列感的细节。
  通过兼顾日常的舒适性和长期的耐久性，无论是对访客还是运用方，都以制作舒适且长期耐用的家具而尽心尽力的。
